More than a handful of Southlake Carroll Dragons signed scholarships in swimming, track and field, soccer, volleyball and basketball at Carroll Senior High School on Wednesday.
The Spring National Letter of Intent Signing Day ceremony highlights the phenomenal accomplishments of Carroll seniors that have received and accepted scholarships to certain universities.
The signees include swimmers Connor Dobbs, Elizabeth Nedrow and Rebecca Upton.
The Dragons earned their fourth consecutive Class 5A state title and became the third school in UIL history to accomplish such a feat. In the 500 freestyle, Dragon swimmer Dobbs earned a bronze medal. Additionally, the Lady Dragons finished with a silver medal.
Dobbs is committed to Texas Christian University, Nedrow will attend Pomona College and Upton accepted a scholarship to Emory University.
Third time is a charm for Carroll cross country and track. The district champions are 'three-peat' winners, carrying on the tradition of keeping Dragon Nation proud and loud.
Track star Sarah Robinson, Brent Aydon and Moriah Dadson plan to expand their skills at their chosen universities.
Robinson is committed to Oklahoma State University while Aydon and Dadson are both committed to Baylor University.
Lady Dragons volleyball is coming off their first trip to the state tournament in Class 5A. Carroll was a 5A state semifinalist and went 48-2 last season.
Volleyball star Avery Alexander was apart of the powerhouse team and will be attending West Point.
Lady Dragon soccer ended the season 23-2-1, one victory shy of a return trip to the Class 5A state tournament. Nonetheless, Carroll posted the team's fewest losses in a season.
Both Olivia Fernandes and Payton Gruenewald assisted their team to a solid season and will further their soccer skills at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College and Mississippi State University, respectively.
Lady Dragon basketball went undefeated during district play, posting a 14-0 record. Rebecca Gordon will take her untouched record and impressive skills to Trinity University.
In February, more than a dozen Carroll student athletes signed scholarships in football, cross country and soccer.
