The Fort Worth Zoobrhosts 8th annual Beastro culinary fundraiser on June 13
In a continuing effort to raise money for internationalbrwildlife conservation and education efforts, the Fort Worth Zoo's Beastro eventbris returning for the eighth year in a row. The premier tasting festival, openbrto those 21 and over, features open bars and appetizers, entrées and dessertsbrfrom restaurants from across the Metroplex including Max's Wine Dive, Texas de Brazil,brCentral Market, Pacific Table, Olenjack's Grille and many others. Following inbrthe footsteps of Charlie Robison, Spin Doctors, Everclear and Sister Hazel, ThebrRomantics — perhaps most well-known for their smash hits “What I Like AboutbrYou” and “Talking in Your Sleep” — will take the stage as Beastro's 2014brentertainment. Additionally, several animal exhibits will stay open until thebrsun goes down, and some of the zoo's outreach animals will greet guests as theybrarrive.
Generalbradmission tickets to this can't-miss celebration are $99 per person — thisbrincludes all food, drinks and entertainment. They can be purchased online untilbrnoon on June 13 and are delivered via email. The zoo advises guests to dressbrsummer chic and to wear comfortable shoes because vendors will be stationedbrthroughout the grounds. The event begins at 7:30 p.m. and runs until midnight.
