As the incoming Southlake Carroll Debate Teambrco-captain, Azhar has an outstanding reputation.brAs freshman, he became the Senate CongressionalbrDebate state champion and proceeded to win thebrCongressional Debate Tournament at the Universitybrof Texas – Austin and the Foreign ExtemporaneousbrSpeaking Tournament at UNT. On the nationalbrcircuit, Azhar has attended the finals at the HarvardbrCongressional Debate tournament twice, placingbramong the top 16 out of more than 500 participantsbracross the country. He also took home second placebrin the State in Foreign Extemporaneous Speakingbrtournament.br
