Week 13: 30-48 loss to DeSoto
#88 Kole Ramage
In addition to a successful onside kick in the first quarter, three first half field goals of 21, 38 and 47 yards from the foot of Kole Ramage helped give the Dragons an early lead against DeSoto. Ramage has been instrumental throughout the season for his special teams efforts including two 50+ yard FGs and consistently punting within the opposition's 20-yard line.
Week 12: 28-3 win vs Wylie
#4 Jacob Copeland
Senior LB Jacob Copeland was clicking on all cylinders as he totaled a team high 13 tackles and 2 passes knocked down as the Dragons took down the Wylie Pirates. Behind the relentless pressure of Copeland and the Dragon defense, Wylie was limited to just 3 points and 71 yards rushing on the game.
Week 11: 52-34 win vs Hebron
#15 Audricke Gaines
Audricke Gaines and the Dragon running game continue to roll behind an impressive offensive line. On Senior Night Gaines was unstoppable once again rushing for 240 yards and 4 TDs against the Hebron Hawks. The Dragon rushing attack amassed 414 yards and 6 TDs in total on their way to solidifying the outright District Championship.
Week 10: 45-7 win vs LD Bell
#27 Trey Sledge
Trey Sledge had the game of his life against LD Bell as he rushed for 108 yards and a TD on just 10 carries (10.8 yds/carry). The . The Senior RB also caught a 27 yard TD for his second TD of the game. Sledge has provided a second half spark and is the teams #2 rusher with 409 yards on the season.
Week 9: 44-13 win vs Byron Nelson
#15 Audricke Gaines
Audricke Gaines has been on a roll for weeks now and Byron Nelson just couldn't stop him. The senior running back led a potent ground attack totaling 139 yards and two TDs on just 13 carries (10.7 yds/carry). On the season Gaines already has 14 TDs and is expected to cross the 1,000 yard rushing mark in the next game against LD Bell.
Week 8: 33-21 win vs Flower Mound Marcus Marauders
#11 Jackson Davis
Jackson Davis seems to step up big when his team needs him the most. With the offense needing a boost after putting up just 7 points in the first half, Davis put his leadership to the test. The senior slot receiver hauled in 5 passes for 51 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Week 7: 49-7 win vs Lewisville Farmers
#13 Mason Holmes
With his most eye-popping statistical game of the season Mason Holmes threw 20-28 (71%) and 4 TDs in a well earned win over their upstart district rivals. Holmes spread the ball connecting with six different receivers during the contest. He also added 61 yards on the ground on just three carries (20.3 yds/carry average).
Week 6: 42-28 win vs Euless Trinity Trojans
#47 John Miscoll
The Dragon defense had a standout game holding the Trojans to a scoreless second half. John Miscoll had perhaps the best statistical performance during a well rounded team effort. The senior LB posted 12 tackles, an INT and a forced fumble on the night.
Week 4: 42-7 win vs Flower Mound Jaguars
#18 Jake Murphy
Senior DB Jake Murphy is having a great season and led the Dragons in a trio of interceptions against the Jaguars in their showdown at Neal Wilson Stadium. In addition to interceptions by Barrett Buck and RJ Mickens—Murphy took his back to the house for a TD.
Week 3: 30-23 win vs Rockwall
#6 Cade Bell
Another week and another Dragon receiver steps up to the challenge. This week Cade Bell steps into the fold to lead the Dragon's with 7 catches for 133 yards. Bell's performance was crucial to the game plan as it opened up the ground game which ultimately put the Dragons ahead for a hard fought win.
Week 2: 37-14 win vs Arlington Martin
#22 Robert Barnes
Robert Barnes came to play in week two. In a new twist Coach Wasson lined the versatile athlete up at wide receiver and the senior captain did not disappoint. Even though he hadn't played offense since elementary school, Barnes was the game's leading receiver with153 yards on 6 catches. He also notched 5 tackles and a forced fumble as the team's starting safety.
Week 1: 10-21 loss vs Tulsa Union
#11 Jackson Davis
Jackson Davis wasted little time stepping up in his role as a leading receiver for the Dragons. Battling against a stingy defense in top-ranked Tulsa Union, Davis caught 4 passes for 97 yards to lead all receivers in the game. Averaging over 24 yards per catch on the game he also accounted for more than half of the team's yardage through the air.
