Week 15: 28-42 loss vs Waco Midway
#14 Will Bowers
Will Bowers stepped up mightily with the season on the line. The junior quarterback accounted for 372 total yards but the Dragons fell short vs Waco in the UIL 6A Division 2 Quarterfinals. Bowers rushed for 50 yards and threw an impressive 20-29 for 302 yards and 3 TDs.
Week 14: 28-24 win vs Arlington Colts
#14 Will Bowers
With running back TJ McDaniel out with an injury, Will Bowers accounted for 74% of the Dragon offense. The junior quarterback rushed for 101 yards on 18 carries and was 10-14 for 180-yards passing with an incredible game winning TD toss to Carson White.
Week 13 Area Round: 33-15 win vs DeSoto
#48 Jacob Doddridge
As the games get bigger Doddridge continues to bring his best. The senior defensive captain helped hold the Eagles to just 15 points by contributing 12 tackles including 2 sacks. Doddridge is tied for the team lead in sacks (5).
Week 12 Bi-District Round: 42-0 win vs McKinney
#4 TJ McDaniel
McDaniel showed no signs of rust after missing the previous two games due to injury. He rushed for 316-yards and 5 touchdowns. His play paced the Dragons to an early lead they never relented.
Week 11: 31-36 loss vs Hebron
#10 RJ Mickens
Facing Hebron's high flying passing game was a challenge and RJ Mickens was up for it. The sophomore safety led the team with 12 tackles and 2 forced fumbles (1 recovered). Mickens also caught a pass for 20 yards.
Week 10: 24-17 win vs LD Bell
#8 Tavian Gould
Tavian Gould did what seniors do on Senior Night. He stepped up with 115 yards rushing and a touchdown on 22 carries. Gould also nabbed 2 receptions for 16 yards. By far his best statistical game of the season.
Week 9: 50-17 win vs Trophy Club Byron Nelson
#34 Graham Faloona
On a night where the Dragons gave up just 17 points Graham Faloona was everywhere. The sophomore LB had the best game of his season with 13 tackles, a sack. He also recovered a fumble for a touchdown in the win.
Week 8: 35-21 win vs Flower Mound Marcus
#41 Michael Parrish
The junior quarterback thrilled the homecoming crowd at Dragon Stadium accounting for six touchdowns on the evening. Bowers completed 12-14 passes for 4 touchdowns and ran for 2 more scores in the 51-0 victory over Lewisville.
Week 7: 51-0 win vs Lewisville Farmers
#14 Will Bowers
The junior quarterback thrilled the homecoming crowd at Dragon Stadium accounting for six touchdowns on the evening. Bowers completed 12-14 passes for 4 touchdowns and ran for 2 more scores in the 51-0 victory over Lewisville.
Week 6: 20-21 loss vs Euless Trinity Trojans
#10 RJ Mickens
The sophomore free safety played a tough game and led the Dragon defense with 13 tackles. He also knocked down a pass in the game. On the season he now has 46 tackles.
Week 5: 45-31 win vs Flower Mound Jaguars
#5 Wills Meyer
Wills Meyer had an impressive district opening game reeling in 4 catches for 124 yards against the Jaguars defense. The upstart sophomore made two of the catches for scores and is now tied for the team lead with 3 TD receptions on the season and a gaudy 24.5 yards per catch average.
Week 3: 52-38 win vs Rockwall
#14 Will Bowers
After throwing for 4 TDs and running for another the junior quarterback had his most prolific game to date. In another efficient passing effort Bowers connected 10 of 14 passes (71%) to 4 different Dragon receivers. He also turned 12 carries into 143 yards and an 11.9 yards per carry average.
Week 2: 33-50 loss @ Arlington Martin
#4 TJ McDaniel
The junior running back has quickly become a focal point of the Dragon offense. McDaniel took 25 carries and turned them into 223 yards and 3 TDs. He averaged 8.9 yards per carry against an impressive Arlington Martin defense.
Week 1: 21-14 win @ Broken Arrow (OK)
#6 Cade Bell
Bell was clicking on all cylinders with new QB Will Bowers. The senior wideout torched the Broken Arrow secondary for a team high 8 receptions and 153 yards— including a 34-yd TD for the Dragons first score of the season!
