The snakes are giant, the sparkly leotards are amazing and Taylor Swift is proving to the world with her “Reputation Stadium Tour” that she is unstoppable. The Grammy-winning pop princess puts on a show like no one else, complete with fireworks, fountains, choreographed dances, impressive costumes, a tilted stage and even wrist bands that light up to the beat of the music. For her fifth world tour, Taylor Swift is performing songs from her multi-platinum sixth album, “reputation,” which sold 1.2 million copies its first week. Its tunes address many of the rumors swirling around the mega star, including one particularly bad dispute where she was called a snake and bombarded with snake emojis on social media. Now, she is reclaiming her reputation, declaring the “old Taylor” is dead and the “new Taylor” is her real self, which she is finally revealing to the world.
Of course, Swifties would argue they have always loved Taylor. She came on the scene as a country artist in 2006, where she became the youngest person to write and perform a number one song on the Hot Country Songs chart with “Our Song.” Her next album, “Fearless,” made Taylor the youngest Album of the Year winner at the Grammy Awards and won Best-Selling Album of 2009. After releasing her fifth album, “1989,” she became the first woman to win Album of the Year twice. Her concert will be filled with as many heartfelt moments as there are impressive ones, and fans will love singing along to her newest hits “Look What You Made Me Do,” “Delicate” and “Ready for It?” as well as old favorites like “Shake it Off” and “Blank Space.” We hope this version of Taylor Swift is here to stay because we love her more than ever!
