A Garabedian Properties custom-built home will be featured on WFAA's “Susie Homemaker Holiday Dream Home” television special on December 8 at 12 p.m. The 5,418-square-foot, five-bedroom home will be showcased complete with holiday décor during the 30-minute program.
During the episode, viewers will have a chance to get an inside look at the home's build. The English Tudor home will come to life over that time as it is shown being built, furnished and refined to its final product.
Producer and host Susie McAuley found the Southlake based-builder through several local referrals and community leaders. The home, located in Southlake's Clariden Ranch subdivision, is now listed at $1,499,950. And in the spirit of the season, a portion of the sale will benefit the Journey Learning Center, a Grapevine nonprofit that supports therapies for children with autism. It's a cause that's near to Garabedian's heart.
“We came to Journey when our youngest daughter was diagnosed with autism about 12 years ago,” Garabedian says. “We enrolled her in the Learning Center and the OT Center to provide her therapies to help her assimilate more easily into the community. We are donating a portion of the home to help them continue the build-out of their new facility in Grapevine."
