Ying Aikens is passionate about her creative cuisine. A self-taught chef with over 800 cookbooks, Ying is the pioneer behind the gourmet restaurant Next Bistro, where she puts an elegant spin on contemporary dishes. Using the freshest organic ingredients locally sourced from her own garden, Ying focuses on delivering the highest quality product long before it hits a sizzling pan. With a collection of fresh herbs and spices, Ying ensures that every dish that comes out of her kitchen sings with its own savory flavor.
Since opening her restaurant in October 2011, Ying has created exciting new entrees on Next Bistro's menu. From Dover sole and Chilean seabass to lobster and shrimp potstickers and cedar plank salmon, Ying’s reward is seeing the look on diners’ faces as they bite into her delicious food. With culinary expertise and a deep-rooted affection for fine dining, Ying loves turning the ordinary into the extraordinary at Next Bistro.
