Chef Gabriel DeLeon has been serving up inventive, delicious food with Mi Dia since it first opened its doors in 2011. Known for regional Mexican cuisine with a New Mexican twist, Mi Dia has a fresh take on everything from Artisanal Street Tacos to seasonal margaritas.
Chef DeLeon was inspired not only by the food he grew up with but also by the flavors of New Mexico. He studied under a famous chef in Santa Fe, which is where he learned the magic of red and green chilies. He loves that through food, he is able to transport people back to a time and place that they fondly remember. When he isn’t coming up with amazing new entrees, chef DeLeon volunteers for the Ronald McDonald house. On a larger scale, each restaurant is locally involved in its surrounding community.
