Kamy Lafavers was born into the barbecue business. Her grandparents Bill and Phyllis Lafavers purchased the building that would later be known as Feedstore BBQ in 1997 and turned into a barbecue restaurant in 2001 after “the animals started moving out and the people started moving in.” Her father Mike has satisfied Southlake residents for many years with his delicious smokey ribs and brisket sandwiches, but now he’s beginning to pass the torch to his daughter Kamy, better known as “Princess,” to take the reins of the family restaurant. Kamy is excited to keep the business going for the next generation, fill even more bellies and make even more smiles.
