When did you start your business?
I opened my first cleaners in Southlake in 1992. Prior to that, I was a nurse, so this was an exciting leap into self-employment. I’m proud to say that I opened the first-ever dry cleaning plant here in the town where I was raised.
What’s your favorite part of the job?
Hands down dealing with that customer across the counter. Our customers come to us for everything from a laundered shirt, to heirlooming a wedding dress.
What makes your company unique?
The fact that we are family owned and operated is huge. You can pretty much walk in and speak to me just about anytime. That is just a rarity anymore these days, and some of our employees have been with us for over 20 years.
What is your secret to success?
Smile, love what you do, keep it simple and learn and grow together.
