Inspire Physical Therapy and Wellness
Co-owners Jennifer McCauley, DPT, OCS and Julie Henderson
Our goal is to get our patients on the road to recovery quickly and back to their active and happy lifestyles.
Our top health and wellness tip for 2019 is… improve the way you move! Movement is key to a healthy lifestyle. Regular exercise can increase energy levels, strengthen muscles, improve bone density, decrease stress levels and so much more. Whether you are chasing your grandkids, playing 18 holes of golf or running a marathon, optimal movement is the foundation for reaching these goals.
We are inspired by… our patients! There is nothing more rewarding than receiving pictures of our patients achieving their goals, all thanks to their hard work and commitment to their treatment plan.
The treatment we’re most excited about is… pelvic floor therapy. We were thrilled to see the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) embrace the “fourth trimester” in a committee opinion in May. It is common to see postpartum women who are suffering from unnecessary symptoms. We treat both women and men for pelvic health and both are tremendously underserved in this area. Pelvic floor dysfunction is the root cause of many issues including incontinence, erectile dysfunction, back pain, SI pain and the list goes on. The acknowledgment of physical therapy’s role in pelvic health is a conceptual shift and we are so excited for the dialogue to continue!
