WHAT IS YOUR HEALTHCARE PASSION AND HOW DID YOU COME TO REALIZE IT?

Ever since I was young, I wanted to be a physician. Practicing medicine allows us to impact people’s lives on a daily basis, and I feel very fortunate to be a part of that.

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE YOUR PARTICULAR SPECIALTY?

The operating room is a great environment to work in and presents new challenges every day. Anesthesiology has both clinical and procedural aspects to it, and I was drawn to that. The opportunity to put a patient at ease prior to their surgery and getting them safely through their procedure is something that is very rewarding.

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE YOUR SPECIALTY?

Anesthesia provides a unique opportunity to significantly impact another person’s life at a very brief but critical time. I especially enjoy the procedural aspect of the specialty and the operating room environment.

WHAT DO YOU ENJOY MOST ABOUT WORKING WITH PATIENTS?

I enjoy coming along a patient’s side during what can be a very stressful time and providing reassurance and compassion. Our interaction is typically very brief but important and very rewarding.

Valiant Anesthesia is comprised of 15 board-certified anesthesiologists. We strive to provide a patient-centered anesthetic experience and are honored to have several of our providers chosen as Top Docs. It is truly humbling to know patients and the surgeons we provide coverage for recognizing the effort we put in on a daily basis. Anesthesia is a challenging market in this area and patients often don’t realize they have a choice in their anesthetic provider. We want patients to know they have a choice, and in turn, we hope they choose Valiant.
