I like being around people and would like to make a difference in their lives. I am passionate about the art of surgery, the centuries of history behind it and the immediate impact it has on people lives.

We recently started offering the Obalon Balloon system in our office. It’s a non-surgical weight loss option that offers dramatic results.

DESCRIBE YOUR SURGICAL EDUCA­TION AND TRAINING:

I received my medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia and then completed a surgical residency and research fellowship at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. I also attended the Baylor College of Medicine Advanced Laparoscopic Fellowship in Houston. I’m also a Fellow of both the American College of Surgeons and the American Society for Metabolic and Bar­iatric Surgeons.
