HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE RECOGNIZED BY YOUR NORTH TEXAS PEERS AS A TOP DOC?
I am humbled to have been recognized as a Top Doc by my peers. I have the utmost respect for my colleagues and am proud to be a part of this vibrant medical community.
WHAT IS THE BEST PROFESSIONAL ADVICE YOU HAVE RECEIVED?
The best professional advice I received was to focus on all of the information to make the best decisions for patients, and deliver that care with compassion and understanding.
Sara E. Suttle, DPM Fellow, American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE YOUR SPECIALTY?
Working as a surgical technician, I got a birds-eye view of many surgical specialties. I chose foot and ankle surgery early on and have never looked back! I love what I do and am one of those people that can say I love going to work every day.
TELL US ABOUT THE LATEST PROCEDURES OR NEW TECHNOLOGIES YOU ARE MOST PROUD TO OFFER.
I use the latest in orthobiologic advancements, including stem cell and platelet-rich plasma treatments. I also provide my patients with the latest technology in Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy for chronic tendon/fascia conditions.
Todd Drury, MD
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE YOUR PARTICULAR SPECIALTY?
I chose hand and wrist surgery because I love the complexity of how the hand interacts with our environment, and the precise nature of the surgeries required to address dysfunctions and injuries of the upper extremity.
WHAT IS YOUR HEALTHCARE PASSION?
I simply really enjoy the privilege of caring for people. I started my healthcare journey as a physical therapist after attending therapy sessions with my grandfather, and ultimately became an orthopedic hand surgeon. I realized very early on that I enjoyed the very special human interactions that occur between a patient and a caregiver.
