“I love the immediate relief I can provide a lot of my patients.”
HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE RECOGNIZED AS A TOP DOC BY YOUR NORTH TEXAS PEERS? This recognition has always been the most complimentary to me. Other physicians in the community vote for other doctors who exemplify excellence in their specialties. What a better honor is there than that?
WHAT IS THE MOST REWARDING PART OF YOUR JOB? I love the immediate relief I can provide a lot of my patients. When they come into the office with pain and leave pain free, it’s the best feeling in the world.
WHAT IS A COMMON MISCONCEPTION IN YOUR FIELD? I think, by far, the most common misconception is the degree of a podiatrists’ training. Because of the way it has changed over the last 20 years, patients and even other physicians aren’t aware of the parity we’ve approached with other medical professionals. Podiatrists complete four years of training in a podiatric medical school and three years of hospital residency training. Podiatrists can focus on many fields, including surgery, sports medicine, wound care and diabetic care.
