“We love determining the least invasive intervention to achieve the best clinical outcomes for our patients.”
David Rothbart, M.D., FAANS, FACS
WHAT MAKES YOUR PRACTICE STAND OUT? We focus on getting patients better without surgery. In fact, less than 5% of all our patients end up with a recommendation for surgery. However, when a patient does require one, we utilize minimally invasive techniques that allow 90% of those patients to have outpatient spine surgery.
WHAT IS THE BEST PROFESSIONAL ADVICE YOU’VE EVER RECEIVED? Treat your patients as if they were members of your own family.
Neil Patel, M.D., FAAOS
WHAT IS A COMMON MISCONCEPTION IN YOUR FIELD? That patients with spine-related pain often need surgery. The reality is that most patients can be relieved of their pain without surgery. That is the basic philosophy of Spine Team Texas.
WHAT IS THE MOST REWARDING PART OF YOUR JOB? The thing I most enjoy about taking care of spine patients is not only using scientific data when developing a treatment plan but also using my clinical experience to determine the smallest, least invasive intervention to achieve the best clinical outcomes with the shortest recovery time.
