I specialize in minimally-invasive spine surgery. Utilizing these advanced techniques has been the main focus of my 27-year career as a neurosurgeon.
WHAT IS THE MOST REWARDING PART OF YOUR JOB?
The most rewarding aspect of my career is taking a patient to surgery who is experiencing agonizing pain and having them walk out 60 minutes later with their pain resolved. Our model of care has greatly decreased the number of patients who require surgery while achieving excellent outcomes and patient satisfaction.

WHAT MADE YOU WANT TO PURSUE HEALTH CARE?
When I was 5 years old, I saw my grandfather suffer from his first heart attack. The profound emotional impact the health scare had on my family ignited my determination to assist others and led me to pursue a career in medicine.
