Traci Bernard
“Texas Health Southlake is a place where employees want to work, physicians want to practice and patients receive exceptional care.”
Even at a young age, Traci Bernard knew she had a passion for helping people and wanted to grow up to work in the healthcare industry. What she eventually realized after she entered the medical field, however, was that she had another passion: creating cultural change.
In her 25-year career, Traci has been hands-on in several aspects of hospital operations, finance, quality management and strategic planning. Her secret to success? Investing in people.
“When I became President of Texas Health Southlake 14 years ago, I made it my goal to create a place where employees want to work, physicians want to practice and patients receive exceptional care,” Traci says. “I believe part of my success is through my dedication for employee, physician and patient satisfaction.”
This October, Texas Health Southlake is celebrating 15 years of serving the Southlake community. Traci says she’s extremely proud of all the lives they’ve helped change over the hospital’s tenure.
“This success resides on the shoulders of our team that have a passion for their jobs, this community and the patients we have the privilege of serving,” Traci says. “I look forward to seeing what all we accomplish in the next 15 years.”
