The American Heart Association went red for women’s heart health this month.
On Dec. 7, the Hats For Heart Tea and Fashion Show spread awareness on heart health through a fun and festive afternoon. Attendees put in their bids for the “purse-onality” auction, made their own headwear at the hat station, experienced a riveting fashion show and participated in health screenings and CPR demonstrations, all while listening to survivors speak on their experiences with heart disease. In total, the association raised $80,000 from the event. Watch the following video to learn more about how you can help.
