Me Squared Cancer Foundation was established in 2019 when Southlake resident Mimi Tran was battling her own cancer journey. She was fortunate to have the funds and support system to fight the disease and wanted to make sure that others in the DFW would be able to do the same without worrying about paying their bills.
The Healing Chair DFW loans reclining lift chairs primarily to breast cancer patients to aid in their recovery after they are released from hospital. They believe that a warm embrace has the power to heal. Through the comfort of The Healing Chair and a circle of caring survivors and friends, their mission is to embrace and support cancer patents during the healing process. As they say, "It's more than just a chair."
