“The team at Providence of Texas, now Great Plains Bank, is there at any hour to help with all our needs, from personal to strategic business banking.” — Jim W.
Providence Bank of Texas has always been committed to its clients and the communities it serves. Its bankers are very serious about their mission and commitment to helping businesses grow, individuals prosper and communities thrive through both civic and charitable investment.
Randy McCauley has been in leadership at Providence since 2007 when the bank was formed in Southlake and served as president and CEO. The bank sprang from the commitment of local shareholders to offer relationship banking with management who had long histories and deep roots in the area. Community involvement has always been a primary focus, with senior lender Janice Spooner and Goldie Rhone being actively involved in the Southlake market for years. Briana Saenz leads the operational staff as branch manager and continues the legacy of high-level customer service. Their committed management team strives for exceptional service and great client experience.
The bank grew as it added a new location in Greater Keller/North Fort Worth in 2016 to expand its service offerings and markets. Their team continued to deepen their commitment to small businesses and individual clients, as well as expand their support to chambers and local community organizations, serving those in need through volunteer efforts and financial support. Providence Bank of Texas believes in making a difference both in business and philanthropy.
In December 2022, Providence embraced the opportunity to merge with a like-minded banking organization in Great Plains Bank. Its community-focused banking model continued to grow and now supports communities through 22 locations in Texas and Oklahoma.
Providence Bank of Texas’ board of directors and management team have faithfully served their communities for over 15 years. With Randy continuing to oversee the Southlake office and serve as market president, the mission continues to be exceeding customers’ expectations by delivering superior service.
“The cornerstone of our business philosophy is still built upon the relationships we foster, the partnerships we build and our belief in moving forward together,” regional president Chris Shah says. “We are excited to add Southlake and North Fort Worth to the list of communities Great Plains Bank calls home.”
