A luxury fashion experience opened in Southlake last week.
Displaying beautiful textiles, carrying five brands in-house and custom-clothing women through an exclusive appointment-only schedule, Meison Studio is a new urban chic space that helps women with their fashion sense around their busy schedules. Merchandise director and stylist Carolyn Wang says she hand-selects the brands for their quality and with utility in mind.
“Something we really believe in as a company is about educating our customers on product,” Carolyn says.
Carolyn is passionate about understanding each woman as an individual and matching a few anchor pieces that can be mixed and matched to align with her lifestyle. She pulls styles that make her clients feel good about themselves.
The name of the company, Meison Studio, carries a double meaning. In French, la maison means "house." But more meaningful than that, she incorporated her three sons' names — Malachi, Eli and Isaac — into the namesake, Meison.
Like other moms, her work and home-life balance can be a challenge, and Carolyn says she learns from other successful women who are doing amazing things in the business world. If she can give women a thimble of confidence, save some time and help them keep doing what they love, then that keeps her going as well.
“I love what I do," she says. "It’s not the clothes — it’s the story behind the clothes."
Meison Studio is open now at 415 S. Kimball Ave. To learn more, visit Meison.com.
