North Texas Performing Arts is proud to announce the expansion of its Southlake program with its newest theater.
Opening in Southlake in 2021, North Texas Performing Arts has lead classes, camps and productions aimed at K-12 children looking to get into arts and entertainment. But for 2023, NTPA Southlake will be moving into a brand new space for its upcoming season.
The new space features a mainstage theater with 200 seats, a black box theater, four rehearsal and dance studios, individual practice rooms and new administration offices.
“We are excited to combine our 30 years of youth theatre experience and tradition with the incredible performing arts talent of the youth in Southlake and the surrounding region,” NTPA CEO Darrell Rodenbaugh says. “We look forward to expanding our shows, classes, camps and private lessons into making Southlake a powerhouse for youth performing arts.”
NTPA Southlake plans to produce over 20 major youth theater productions this season such as “Matilda,” “Into the Woods,” “Annie,” “Mean Girls” and more.
