Park Place Dealerships handed out an early holiday gift to 18 nonprofits in North Texas.
Last month, the dealership launched its third annual Season of Giving campaign, where it committed to awarding $100,000 to local nonprofits for their work in education, medical research, children’s advocacy and the arts. After reviewing 400 applications, Park Place awarded 18 grants ranging from $2,500 to $10,000. Education recipients included Academy 4, Primo’s and Vogel, while medical recipients included Mammogram Poster Girls, Hope Center 4 Autism and Evan’s Avengers. Annie’s Place, Camp Summit, The Vitamin Bridge, Carry The Load, Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas, Canine Companions, Community Caring Center, Heroes For Children, Children’s Advocacy Center of North Texas, Apollo Support and Rescue, Ability Connection all make up the advocacy recipients while Sixty & Better is this year’s sole arts recipient.
“For more than 35 years, Park Place has partnered with local charities that serve Dallas/Fort Worth and surrounding areas,” experiential marketing manager Kara Connor says. “We have developed relationships with many amazing organizations who serve North Texas in meaningful ways. We are excited to learn more about these new recipients and learn how we can work together going forward to help them achieve their goals.”
