We’ve watched Southlake Town Square take shape over the years, but there’s always more to learn about the development. Here are a few things we learned while looking into the district’s history.
1. Stebbins sketched the park in front of Town Hall after drawing inspiration from squares in Savannah, Georgia, as well as the square in Washington, Iowa, where he spent a great deal of time while growing up and visiting his grandfather.
2. After the completion of Parkview Residences in late 2019, there will be a total of just over 100 residences in Southlake Town Square with 60 additional residences and five custom home lots in the pipeline for future development.
3. Every phase of Southlake Town Square is marked with the year of its completion. So be on the lookout for some engraved dates next time you are walking through the district.
