Since the coronavirus first surfaced in December last year, it has spread to over 179,000 cases worldwide, including two confirmed in Southlake since March 16. As our community grapples with cancelations and closures, we at Southlake Style thought it would be helpful to catalog city, school and county level resources of importance. This list will be updated as new information becomes available.

City of Southlake
While all city council, board and commission meetings have been canceled in response to the coronavirus, the city provides an online resource to provide relief for the community.

Carroll ISD
Although Carroll ISD closed its campuses until March 27, the campus will begin online classes on March 23. The district has not confirmed whether the closure will last longer than March 27, so check back for updates.

For medical updates and services, your local county public health department has the best information relating to preventing and recovering from the coronavirus. If you are uninsured, you can also call 211 to be connected with a low or no-cost provider.

- Texas Department of State Health Services: Its website has helpful information on what to do if you get sick from the coronavirus.
National/Global
One of the most helpful organizations to refer to is the Centers for Disease Control, which has the most up-to-date information on how to respond to the coronavirus. The World Health Organization also has the latest figures on its situational dashboard.
