Open Oct. 1 - 31, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Available for picking: pumpkins, hay bales, cornstalks, baked goods and refreshments. Picnic tables available for individual use; group tables must be reserved. Parking costs $5, walk-ins and buses cost $1. All activities are free.
"Each season we feature Cartoon Character cutouts and bounce houses for the kids. In addition a number of local vendors provide food for purchase."

Heritage Church of Christ
Open through Nov. 1, weekdays, 4 - 7 p.m.; Saturdays, 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.; Sundays, 2 - 7 p.m. Volunteers are needed and can sign up at the church's website. Time slots are one hour each, and two volunteers are needed per time slot.

Grapevine Pumpkin Patch
The Grapevine Youth Pumpkin Patch is brought to you by the First Methodist Church of Grapevine. Open Oct. 1 - 31 located at the south side of the church parking lot (Church located 422 Church St.)Admission is free - all types and sizes of pumpkins are for sale.
The patch is open Sundays through Thursdays, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Fridays, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. On Mondays, a story-telling event is held 10 a.m. to noon.

Pumpkins on the Prairie celebrates its 12th year.
"While everyone can pick their favorite pumpkins, children will also enjoy playing in the bounce house, running through the hay maze and playing games in our 'Kid's Patch!'" the website says. "Plus, there are lots of picture taking opportunities with our fall set-ups and family-fun hayrides! Extra special activities are planned for the weekends, including ... back by popular demand, the Great Pumpkin Launcher!" All activities are free. Restrictions apply if you are bringing your dog(s).
