Carroll Education Foundation of Southlake is proud to announce the scholarship recipients of the Class of 2012. In conjunction with the CISD Senior Awards Ceremony, CEF awarded 12 scholarships to worthy seniors. Each year, CEF chooses 11 graduating CISD students to receive a $1,500 scholarship toward the college of their choice. This year, due to the large graduating class, the CEF board voted to add one more scholarship. Since its inception, CEF has donated more than one million dollars to CISD in the form of teachers' grants and scholarships for graduating seniors.
For the second year, CEF awarded a new scholarship entitled “The Ralph Williams Memorial Scholarship.” Ralph was a valued board member and a dear friend who passed away two years ago. Through this scholarship CEF will be investing in students and community, two great passions of Ralph's. The student chosen for The Ralph Williams Memorial Scholarship is the top candidate chosen among the recipients.

The Southlake CEF raises money for students and teachers of Carroll Independent School District. Since its inception in 1996, CEF has donated more than $925,000 in teachers' grants and more than $109,000 in graduating senior scholarships. The majority of these funds are raised at its annual fundraiser, the Culinary Celebration. This year's Culinary Celebration will be held on Sunday, October 7, 2012 at the Hyatt Regency DFW from 6-10 p.m.
