Locals have more than a few reasons to celebrate Southlake. Every year, the city hosts Celebrate Southlake to commemorate the history, culture and communities that live in Southlake. During this event, residents will come together to share their diverse backgrounds through live performances, group activities and festive food.
Activity booths managed by the Southlake Foundation, Southlake Sister Cities, SOMOS Southlake and the International Culture Club will highlight different cultures from India, Japan, Mexico, China, Colombia, Brazil and many more. Plus, this year will introduce a cake contest where home cooks can put their baking skills to the test.
Celebrate Southlake will take place on Saturday, Sept. 9 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Rustin Park in Southlake Town Square. For more information and a lineup of activities, go to VisitSouthlakeTexas.com.
