Symphony aficionados,bryou'll want to mark your calendars for this one: the Dallas Symphony Orchestra (DSO) is performing a classical concert at White’s Chapel United Methodist Churchbron October 22. DSO on the GO is supported by TACA (The Arts Community Alliance)brand The Ebby Halliday Companies.

For this concert, KarinabrCanellakis and the Dallas Symphony Orchestra will perform a classical programbrincluding Britten's The Young Person'sbrGuide to the Orchestra, Mussorgsky’s colorful Pictures at an Exhibition and Mozart’s Overture to The Abduction from the Seraglio. DallasbrSymphony Associate Concertmaster Eunice Keem will take center stage inbrChausson’s Poème for Violin andbrOrchestra.
Prior to the concert,brJamie Allen, Director of Education at the Dallas Symphony, will give abrpre-concert talk at 6:45 pm in the sanctuary.
DSO on the GO wasbrlaunched in 2012 with a classical concert in Allen. In the 2015/16 season, it will feature the full Dallas Symphony Orchestra playing classical andbrpops concerts in cities and neighborhoods across North Texas. DSO on the GObrconcerts feature familiar classical pieces and popular light classics, withbrconcerto soloists who are principal musicians from the DSO.
