DiwaliFest is making a new high-tech addition to its annual festival of lights.
Hosted by the Southlake Foundation, the annual celebration will take place on Oct. 28 from noon to 10 p.m. at Southlake Town Square. While the event will be filled with all of the food, music and Bharatanatyam dances you’d come to expect, this weekend will feature an exclusive new drone show that will take the annual festival to new heights — literally.
The drone show will take place before the fireworks show and will unfold a story in motion, with various colorful animations moving in the night sky. The show will symbolize the festival’s themes of light overcoming darkness.
