Our 2018 Miss Southlake EmmaKate Few represented our city during this year’s Miss Texas competition at the Eisemann Center in Richardson. And during the final round of competition on June 30, she was named second runner up. She was also awarded the Alpha Lifestyle & Fitness award during the preliminary rounds.
“I had such an exciting week and am even more excited about the $7500 worth of scholarships I won at Miss Texas!” EmmaKate says.
She took the stage to strut her stuff in the swimsuit competition, talked about her platform – Walk the Talk – during the on-stage question round, wowed the crowd during the evening wear competition and caught everyone's attention during the talent portion when she performed contemporary clogging.
EmmaKate was joined by four other North Dallas contestants in the Top Five: Miss Frisco was named fourth runner up, Miss Richardson third runner up, Miss Park Cities first runner up and Miss Dallas, Madison Fuller, was crowned Miss Texas 2018.
“I cannot thank the Southlake community enough for the incredible support throughout my journey to the Miss Texas stage, and I'm excited to continue serving the Southlake community until our new Miss Southlake is crowned,” EmmaKate says.
