The North Texas Performing Arts Center knows that talent lives in Texas — that's why they're giving away $1,000 for their inaugural North Texas' Got Talent Contest.
For the month of August, the Southlake fine arts organization is accepting entries for their first-ever talent show. According to a media release, area singers, dancers, musicians, magicians and performers will have until the end of the month to submit a video of them showcasing their talent. If selected, the finalists will perform their talent live in front of a panel of judges on Sept. 28 at the Shops at Willow Bend in Plano. The top three winners will be given a cash prize ranging from $200 to $500.
“We have such amazing performance talent across North Texas,” NTPA CEO Darrell Rodenbaugh says. “This is not just a high-stakes talent contest. It is a celebration of our region's incredible artistic diversity and exceptional talent!”
The entry fee is $20, and the finalists will be notified of their selection in September. To audition or learn more, visit NTPA.org/Got-Talent.
