Each October Dragon Stadium goes pink for a great cause!
On October 17th, Dragon Stadium goes pink for abrgreat cause.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and when thebrlights go up on Friday night, October 17th over DragonbrStadium, you'll notice another color accenting that familiar Dragon green.
As the boys take on the Trinity Trojans in a bid for 7-0, players, brcoaches, fans, and families will take part in one of Southlake’s most importantbrtraditions: the annual Pink Out game. It’s all about raising awareness andbrfunds for a cause close to all our hearts. Fans of both teams are encouraged tobrwear pink to the game and show their support for the fight against breastbrcancer, and survivors will be honored on the field during a pregame ceremony.
Throughout the game, Ozarka will distribute 4,000 free pinkbrcozies and bracelets to fans. Additionally, for every bottle ofbrOzarka Brand 100% Natural Spring Water sold at the Southlake Carrollbrstadium concessions on Friday night, Ozarka will donate fiftybrcents to the Baylor Health Care Breast Cancer Fund, with a minimumbrdonation of $1,000 and a maximum donation of $5,000.
“Baylor fights daily to advance breast cancer diagnosis, brtreatment and care so that families and loved ones do not suffer the unbearablebrloss of a wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, or friend due to this disease,”brsays Rowland K. Robinson, president of Baylor Health Care System Foundation. “It'sbrtruly inspiring to have the support of Ozarka and the Southlake Carroll Dragonbrcommunity for this cause – one that touches us all.”
Ozarka brand water can be seen throughout Dragon Stadium forbreach home game this season, supporting the Southlake Carroll Dragons and thebrtraditions of Friday Night Lights.
