While kids might miss visiting the Southlake Fire Station right now, they don’t have to venture out of the house to get a tour. In fact, the Southlake Fire Department brought the tour right to their own desktops.
On Tuesday, July 15, the Southlake Fire Department released a video of firefighter John Angeles giving a tour of the facility. He takes viewers through the locker room, report room, kitchen, gym and garage before suiting up and responding to a dumpster fire. At the end of the video, viewers got a surprise contest they could participate in. Simply count how many times firefighter Angeles calls you a rookie in the video and comment your answer. After the Southlake Fire Department draws names from the correct answers, winners will receive either a Southlake firefighter hat and bunker gear or a Southlake Fire Department T-shirt.
Visit the Southlake Fire Department’s video on Southlake DPS’ Facebook page and post your answer by the end of the month. The winner will be notified on Saturday, August 1.
