Southlake was recently named the safest city in Texas, according to an analysis conducted by MoneyGeek.
To get its findings, MoneyGeek analyzed crime statistics by “quantifying the cost of crime” in small cities and towns nationwide. With a population of 32,905, Southlake’s cost of crime per capita was estimated to be $64, the lowest out of the entire state of Texas. Nationally, Southlake was rated the fourth safest out of 660 cities behind Yorktown, New York, Mason, Ohio and Andover, Massachusetts.
