Once again Southlake was listed amongst the Best Dallas Suburbs according to the biannual survey conducted by D Magazine. A perennial top pick, Southlake has fared no lower than 4th going back as far as the 2002 survey and topped the list as the best place to live in 2006.
Gracing the cover of this year's issue Southlake placed 6th, its lowest ranking in recent memory (but always #1 on our list). With an average home sales price listed at $612,864 (8.65% higher than 2010’s $564,077) we seem to be recuperating quite well from the recent economic downturn.
Parker, home to the Southfork Ranch took top honors in both this year's and 2010's survey. Notable neighbors include; Colleyville (#5), Flower Mound (#8), Coppell (#11), Keller (#18) and Grapevine (#27).
