Verandas at Southlake
The City of Southlake recently award Adolfson & PetersonbrConstruction a project to build a new community recreation center. The projectbrwas confirmed by the city council in favor of selecting the company as thebrgeneral contractor.
The Southlake Community RecreationbrCenter is a two-story, 105,200-square-foot building, currently in design bybrBarker Rinker Seacat Architecture. The project will be constructed in twobrphases. Phase one will include various additions such as a community eventsbrhall, senior center and an outdoor amphitheater. Phase two will include abrrecreation and aquatic center with multiple spaces, including a lobby, indoorbrplayground, gymnasium and outdoor living spaces.
“Having recently completed the newbrForest Park Medical Center in Southlake, Adolfson & Peterson Constructionbris well versed in the city's codes and requirements for new developmentbrprojects,” says Candice Edmondson, the city of Southlake's deputy director.
The Southlake Community RecreationbrCenter is currently in preconstruction, with the groundbreaking for phase 1brscheduled for August 2014.
