Southlake resident andbrrestaurant veteran Aslam Khan has been named TGI Fridays top executive. Khanbrsucceeds John Antioco, who served as interim CEO since Robert Palleschi leftbrthe company last year.
Khan is founder of FalconbrHoldings, LLC, and is known for being king of the turnaround story forbrstruggling franchises including Church’s Chicken, Piccadilly Cafeteria, LongbrJohn Silver’s, A&W and Hardee’s.
But he wouldn't call TGIbrFridays a turnaround. “It's not really down. I just want to enhance thebrperformance a little bit better for investors, employees and most importantlybrguests,” Khan told Restaurant FinancebrMonitor.
TGI Fridays is a Dallas-basedbrcasual-dining chain that operates more than 900 restaurants in 61brcountries. Click here to read more about Khan’s plan for TGI Fridays.
