We already know that Grapevine pulls out all the stops for Christmas, but they also put on a mean St. Patrick’s Day celebration. This year, they are hosting two different community events the day before St. Paddy’s Day.
On Saturday, March 16 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., vino lovers can explore downtown Grapevine’s wineries during the St. Patrick’s Wine Trail. Guests will get to try three different wines and a food pairing at each stop. The participating locations include Cross Timbers Winery, Homestead Winery, Grapevine Springs Winery, Umbra, Messina Hof and Wine Fusion Winery. Tickets run $50 in advance and $55 at the door.
If that sounds like too much walking, there will also be the Kiss Me, I’m Irish Express. The 21 and up excursion will start at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday and will include a souvenir Kiss Me, I’m Irish mug, two complimentary glasses of craft beer and heavy Irish-style hors d’oeuvres and a dessert. The train will roll back into the station at 9:15 p.m., so it’s a great way to enjoy a night out without having to worry about transportation. Tickets are currently listed at $39 per person.
