One Carroll Dragon has been "paw"-sitively good the past year.
After she founded the Carroll ISD Animal Service Club last year, Reagan Needleman has helped lead several local initiatives to benefit animal shelters around the area, whether she was making her own pet toys out of fabric or collecting 1,000 tennis balls. Earlier this month, Reagan's hard work paid off after she was nominated for NBC DFW's PAWsitively Good Award, an honor bestowed to those who go above and beyond in helping shelter animals.
"It's a crazy honor to even be considered for an award like this," Reagan says. "I think it's a reflection of all of the hard work I not only put into this club, but also into the bigger picture of helping animals around the area."
Reagan previously appeared on NBC DFW's PAWstiviely Good Award segment on April 7. You can watch her interview online at NBCDFW.com.
