Rebecca Cox was announced as GRACE Grapevine’s new chief executive officer.
As the third person to hold the position of CEO throughout GRACE’S 36-year history, Rebecca brings 23 years of community experience serving those facing poverty, homelessness and resource scarcity. She was formerly the lead ambassador for homeless response systems in Dallas and Fort Worth and has led initiatives that resulted in improved community clinics and mental health care facilities. Most recently, Rebecca served as chief executive of Victory Therapy Center, an equine-assisted therapy agency for special needs children, adults and military veterans.
“I am beyond excited to be joining GRACE and to serve alongside the amazing good that happens there every day,” Rebecca says. “I look forward to where God will bring us.”
Rebecca’s first official act as CEO will be to preside over the open house of the GRACE Christmas Cottage on Monday, Dec. 4.
“Any good work is only accomplished through collaboration and mutual understanding,” Rebecca says. “My passion always has been and always will be empowering those who are struggling in need and to see them not only survive, but thrive.”
