Emerald Belles director Melissa Page makes her return to TV this Friday as a special guest in “Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making The Team.”
Previously appearing in “America’s Got Talent” alongside the rest of the Emerald Belles, Melissa was invited to AT&T Stadium over the summer during the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders’ audition process for its new season. Melissa says she’s worked with the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders before, but never on TV.
“That part never gets easier,” Melissa chuckles. “But I felt comfortable working with them because I used to go in the spring once or twice to work on kicks with the girls.”
During her upcoming television appearance, Melissa helped the girls by evaluating their kicks, leading them through stretches and talking through their techniques with them. She did so well that the show’s producers asked her to return for another episode later in the season.
“It was fun to work with them,” Melissa says. “They were all so gracious and appreciative that I was there, and it was a very fulfilling experience.”
You can catch Melissa on season 16 of “Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making The Team” during its third episode at 8 p.m. this Friday on CMT. She will also appear in another episode later in October.
