Melissa Page hit a new milestone with Carroll ISD this past weekend. On Dec. 19, the Emerald Belles director celebrated 25 years with the district.
Gathering at the fine arts complex at Carroll Senior High School, the Emerald Belles recognized Melissa with a surprise party celebrating her anniversary. Several current and former Belles gathered in the main lobby to look through photos of the Belles program over the years, and shortly after, city and school staff came together to honor Melissa in a big way.
Not only was Melissa awarded recognitions from Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, Reps. Giovanni Capriglione and Beth Van Duyne and Texas State Senator Kelly Hancock, but Southlake Mayor John Huffman also proclaimed Dec. 19 as Melissa Page Day.
“I truly am so overwhelmed,” Melissa says. “I love Southlake. I love this community. It’s just such a special place, and it has been for so many years.”
