Southlake is set to be represented again on television this coming Friday. Compass real estate agent Tommy Pistana will be featured on an episode of HGTV’s “House Hunters” on September 4 at 8:30 p.m., according to a press release.
"It was incredibly exciting to be on House Hunters. Having the opportunity to be on a show that so many people watch and enjoy around the country was a great experience," Tommy says. "I did not realize until we started sharing more details on social media just how many people watch the show on a weekly basis."
This is not Tommy’s first foray into television — he appeared on “The American Dream TV” last year.
On “House Hunters,” Tommy will help Tarrant County couple Anthony and Erin Ilnicky find their dream home, showing them houses in Keller, North Richland Hills and Trophy Club, according to a press release.
"It was a blast," Tommy says about filming. "I have been on some other real estate shows in the past, and it was really cool to see how much effort was put into the production of 'House Hunters.' It was really on another level. Plus working with Anthony and Erin is easy because they are just great people to be around."
As with nearly every “House Hunters” episode, Anthony and Erin are at odds with what they want in a house. Anthony wants a fixer-upper whereas Erin wants a move-in ready home where they could start their family.
"Filming the show requires a lot of commitment and effort. I really didn’t expect that going into the experience and I was exhausted after each day of filming. We did find some ways to have a lot of fun that I think the audience will really enjoy and get a kick out of watching," Tommy says. "It didn’t necessarily feel like we were 'working' during filming since it was so much fun showing Erin and Anthony what is so special about North Texas real estate."
Set your DVR and get ready to watch this Southlake agent find Anthony and Erin’s perfect home.
