Few people in Southlake wear as many hats as Kathy Talley does.
A resident for over 25 years, Kathy has served the community in a myriad of ways, whether she ran the Southlake Women’s Club school supply sale, co-chaired the National Charity League’s fashion show or organized the Carroll Education Foundation’s culinary celebration.
But her proudest achievements are being elected to the Southlake City Council in 2020 and chairing the past three Art In The Square festivals. The award-winning annual event features hundreds of world-renowned artists and has been recognized as the No. 1 fine arts event in the country, according to Art Fair SourceBook.
“It’s important that I can make a difference — that I can leave some lasting positive impact in some way,” Kathy says.
Whether she’s in the square or town hall, Kathy is passionate about the people she serves in Southlake.
