CourtneybrKriegshauser is one of the most decorated Dragons in school history with eightbrUIL medals and several district and state titles. From 2011–2013, she led thebrcross-country team to back-to-back 5A championships. This past year, thebrcross-country team also won the 2012 Nike Cross Nationals runner-up title. Thisbryear, Courtney was named the 2013 Dragon Athlete of the Year. She was also abrmember of the yearbook staff, NHS and the Quill and Scroll Society, among manybrothers. Courtney will continue her running career at Vanderbilt University onbran athletic scholarship starting in the fall.

Laura Hillbrserved as a Southlake City Council member from 2006–2011 before stepping downbrdue to Southlake’s two-term consecutive limit, but now she has returned. In herbrtime outside the council, Laura has been involved with several organizationsbrand created her own called Students and Parents Against Risks to our Kidsbr(SPARK). The organization’s goal is to educate and facilitate discussion aboutbrissues that youth encounter. During her two-year removal from city council, Laurabrserved as a board chair for the Recovery Resource Council of Tarrant County andbrwill lead our great city again as a new board member. Laura has receivedbrmany awards in our community over the years, and we are proud to recognize herbras a True Performer.
