The Young Men’s Service League stayed busy during the holiday season.
During its annual Ultimate Gift Project, YMSL partnered with 6 Stones to deliver bikes and helmets to children in need. Over 150 boys and their mothers came together to build 70 bikes as part of the initiative. When they were finished, they donated 70 bikes to HEB ISD, who in turn gifted the bikes and other presents to the families who needed them most.
“The young men and moms of YMSL served over 400 hours to build bikes and assist with distributing them as part of 6 Stones’ Night of Hope event,” vice president of philanthropy Amy Troutman says. “It was an incredibly meaningful service project for our young men when they can collectively make a large impact for other teens in our area.”
