The Young Men’s Service League recognized some major milestones during its end-of-the-year banquet earlier this month.
The Southlake chapter of YMSL recorded the most service hours amongst the entirety of its 54 chapters in 2022 — over 6,090 service hours in all, according to a media release. The Spirit of Service Award was given to senior Dane DeLugo for contributing over 187 community service hours during his four years in the organization.
DeLugo also received a Senior Leadership Award alongside Josh Battalgia, Will Dyer, Jonathan Miller, Scott Mundy, Dylan Mundy, Max Reyes and Ethan Smith. Trevor Davis and Julian Manero were also honored with the Heart of Service Award for their impact on the community.
“I have had the privilege of working with the YMSL class of 2022 for the past several years and have seen them grow in maturity, responsibility and compassion,” grade level chair Kristi Dyer says. “There is no doubt these young men will continue to serve and make a difference wherever life takes them.”
Congratulations to these incredible young men!
